Tasmanian Shipping Supplies, established in 1989, is a full-service ISO 9001:2015 and HACCP accredited ship chandler and provedore, specialising in Antarctic resupply.
The range and scope of supply includes dry, fresh and frozen provisions, bonded stores, cabin stores, deck and engine stores, lifesaving equipment, construction materials, charts and publications.
Other services include the hire of plant and equipment and bonded storage. Vessels and clients using TSS services include Antarctic stations, cruise ships, naval vessels, research ships, offshore rigs and support vessels, fishing trawlers and general cargo and bulk carriers.
The company operates from modern premises in Hobart and has been supplying Antarctic resupply and Southern Ocean research vessels and Antarctic stations for over 25 years.
