Hadley’s Orient Hotel was first built in 1834 by convict labour and has long been an iconic hotel in Hobart.

In 1912 Roald Amundsen made Hobart his first port after beating Captain Robert Scott in the race to the South Pole. When in Hobart Amundsen stayed at Hadley’s.

Hadley’s is now a beautifully restored property in central Hobart and we continue to welcome adventurers from all over the world. Offering a range of hotel rooms & suites, event and meeting spaces, bar and restaurant we welcome you to come and experience Hadley’s.
